Site-wide shortcuts
⌘KorCtrlK
Open the search modal from any page. Live filter across tools, pillars, overlays, glossary, blog. Arrow keys navigate, Enter opens.
Esc
Close any modal — search, drawer, install banner, cookie banner.
Tab
First press reveals the skip-to-content link in the top-left. Activate it to jump past the header chrome to the main article.
↑↓
In the search modal: navigate up/down through bucketed results.
Enter
In the search modal: open the currently-highlighted result. Saves the query to recents.
Hero tool shortcuts

Open the shortcuts overlay from inside the tool. Lists every other shortcut below in a modal.
O
Open / close the overlay picker sidebar.

Decrease / increase the active overlay's opacity by 5%.
1–9
Switch the active layer when multiple overlays are stacked.
R
Rotate the active overlay 90° clockwise.
F
Flip the active overlay horizontally.
P
Toggle the drawing layer pen on / off. Click + drag to annotate over the reference.
D
Download the current composition (image + active overlays) as PNG.
⌘SorCtrlS
Save workspace — preserves the active image + overlay configuration in localStorage. Comes back next session.
⌘Z
Undo the last drawing-layer stroke.
Space
Hold to pan the canvas. Release to return to the previous tool.
Editorial reading shortcuts
Tab
On pillar pages with the sticky TOC, tab through TOC entries to jump between sections.
⌘P
Print — the print stylesheet hides nav/footer/cookie chrome, expands collapsed details, switches body to serif on white, and appends URLs after every link.
